Darren Knight acquired the business on 1st April 2016 when the founders Mark Middleton and Sheryl Holland retired. Darren has spent the last 12 years growing a successful accounting practice in the Warkworth/North Auckland region and is now enjoying the exciting new challenge at M&H. Like Mark and Sheryl, Darren is also passionate about property investment and has worked closely with and assisted to develop and sell many small to medium sized businesses. Darren has also owned retail businesses providing first-hand experience of everything from pricing through to HR issues that all small business owners face. He prides himself on effective communication and being able to assist clients with their business. Darren has a young family and his interests include surfing, fishing, travelling, good food, and wine.
Chandima joined Middleton Holland in 2008. She has over 10 years’ experience as a professional accountant and worked as Senior Auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers in Sri Lanka before joining M & H. She is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a degree in Accountancy. She is also an accredited Xero Live consultant. She enjoys getting to know people and loves to travel.
Udeshika joined M&H team in 2019. She started her seventeen years professional accounting career with Deloitte Sri Lanka as an Accountant. Udeshika then spent 13 years growing with a subsidiary of a multinational logistics company, Toll Global Forwarding Sri Lanka as the Director of Finance. And prior to joining M&H, Udeshika worked as an Accountant for Thirty Seven South Limited.
Udeshika is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and holds a degree in Business Administration.
Having completed her MBA at the University of Otago recently, Udeshika is passionate to work for a visionary and growing business to reach new heights. Udeshika says, "I'm very excited to be part of a team that I have heard such great things about. I have a passion for the organisation and working with people. I look forward to bringing my skills to the team."
In her free time, Udeshika loves to travel, explore new countries and enjoys spending time in our outdoor natural environment.
Sara joined the M & H team in 2017. Prior to joining M & H, Sara worked in the accounts department for Pita Pit’s head office. She has a Bachelor of Accountancy and her CA qualification. In her spare time, she loves hanging out with her husband, having a cheeky glass of wine and taking her dogs for walks.
Jade joined the M & H team in 2020. Prior to joining M & H, Jade worked in an administration role at Dad’s Pies. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and catching up with friends and family.
